What Happened
A 60-year-old man from Johannesburg was critically injured when two motorcycles riding together collided on Finnegan Road near Gingell Road in Charlton Township on the evening of Sunday, Aug. 9, according to the Michigan State Police Gaylord post, as reported by EUP News.
Troopers said both motorcycles were westbound on Finnegan Road at about 7:27 p.m. when the lead rider, a 40-year-old Johannesburg man, slowed and the trailing motorcycle struck from behind. The 60-year-old went down in the crash and was flown to a hospital in critical condition. Police said he was not wearing a helmet. The 40-year-old rider was not injured.
