What Happened
A semi-truck crashed into a Michigan Department of Transportation truck Monday afternoon on northbound I-196 in Casco Township, Allegan County, shutting down the freeway for hours, WWMT reported.
The MDOT crew was doing patch work on the expressway near the 109th Avenue exit, just north of mile marker 26, when the semi struck their truck around 2:40 p.m., according to the Allegan County Sheriff's Office. The semi jackknifed into the median. No injuries were reported.
